The On Stage DS7200 is perfect for podcast mics and lots of other applications.
The DS7200 is an upgrade to the standard desk stand with an adjustable-height shaft, and a die-cast steel clutch. Height is adjustable from 9.5 to 15.5 inches. The base is 6 inches in diameter.

Quality: Base is dense and solid. Pole had good threads at the base to screw into the bottom
Features: This is everything a mic stand should be. It's simple and very solid. As a professional singer/voiceover artist, I can't believe I've gone this long without it. So long are the days of lugging out the full sized stands. I am certainly not afraid of putting my most expensive mic on this stand.
Ease of Use: Yep, even a caveman can put this thing together.
Sound: N/A.
Value: This actually cut down on the time it takes me to complete a project. In that regard, I'd say it's already paid for itself a few times.

Quality: The stand is indestructible...I was amazed at how heavy this thing was...definitely going to last the rest of my life!
Features: It makes a nice display for your favorite MIC and has everything you'd expect from a desktop stand.
Ease of Use: My cat could hook a mic up to this!
Sound: Very little rumble transfers from the base of the satnd - even when recording piano.
