Sound Color Filter
The manual filter function employed on each channel of Pioneer's high-end equipment is built into the DJM250 as its Sound Color Filter function. By simply turning the integrated large knob, filter effects can be adjusted enabling dynamic and intuitive song arranging.

In addition, since filter effects can be added independently to the songs on each channel, a variety of mixing possibilities can be realized by combining fader operation and EQ effects. Furthermore, different colors and blinking lights on the knob visually indicate the filter mode of the mixer.

Eight Inputs
The DJM250 DJ mixer is equipped with 8 different input paths including four DJ multi-player and analog turntable inputs, three auxiliary (AUX) inputs, and one microphone (MIC) input. The mixer can be used as a preamp and connected to a variety of devices such as PCs, portable music players, televisions or synthesizers.

XLR Balanced Outputs
The Pioneer DJM250 is equipped with XLR balanced outputs that minimize degradation of audio signals. Additionally, the mixer enables users to quickly connect XLR compatible devices such as powered speakers without an adapter.

Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
yes it's pioneer
Features
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
color filters = essential. this is the first good mixer i've found with dedicated filters that didn't cost $$$$ or have them buried under a ton of novelty functions. Full kills too Any other features would go against the simplicity of the mixer
Ease of Use
How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be?
Very easy to set up and use
Sound
How is the tone?
big clear sound
General
Your general opinion of this product.
It's not a club mixer - if you are a club owner looking to upgrade, don't buy this. If you are looking to mix tunes for under $1000, this has everything you need.
