The Schecter C4 Custom is an amazing 4 string electric bass guitar with a solid Mahogany body and 34 inch scale multi laminate Maple/Walnut rock solid 6 point bolt on neck with 24 jumbo frets and offset dot inlays on a high quality solid Rosewood fingerboard. The pickups are dual EMG 35HZ with active 2-band EQ and Master Volume/Master Blend and Bass and Treble adjustment knobs. The hardware is Black Chrome and the bridge is Schecter Custom heavy duty string-thru body or top load.

    Bridge is solid, tuners feel smooth and even. Pots are noise free and firm. Overall fit and finish is outstanding.

    The fret work is really well done. It has a graphite nut. It has a 35" scale not 34, so drop tuning feels better.The only strange thing about this bass is the lower body strap button is offset to the top.
    Tone
    Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
    To me the EMG pu's sound full and bold. They are highly adjustable w/2-band eq and blend control. A 3-band w/mid would be even better. Pu's, preamp, strings, action are all personal preferences. This Bass especially for the money needs nothing changed. It plays and sounds like a quality instrument. I can't say the same for some Basses I have that cost 2-3 times as much
    Finish
    How did the stain or paint job look?
    The Aged White, with binding on body, neck and headstock look fantastic. The pictures don't do it justice. Body and front of headstock are glossy. The neck has great satin finish that feels great to play.
