The Omen 6 Fulfills the Prophecy of Incredible Guitar Style and Playability!
Schecter's Omen 6 is truly epic, a legend in it's own time. Just a look at this guitar and you can see the attention to detail from its glossy carved top, basswood body and a 24-fret bolt-on maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. It's pickups are two Schecter Diamond Plus Humbuckers, making this guitar versatile and able to handle styles ranging from Metal to Jazz. Other features are black hardware, TOM bridge with thru-body stringing. All that and the hard-as-nails tone you expect from a Schecter Diamond Series Guitar.

  • Basswood Body with Carved Top
  • 25.5 inch Scale Bolt-On Maple Neck

Great guitar for the price!
Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Solid.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
No problems
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
Great Guitar for the beginer.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Plays good but the high e and b strings need to be fretted right on or you get that dead sound.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
I like the tone. The controls do not do much though. I will replace with aftermarket pieces.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Paint looks good
Action
How was the action out of the box?
I had to adjust the truss rod, intonation, and string height. But after I set it up no problems.

Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Well it looks and feels built really good I guess time will tell.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Just got it a few days ago.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
I loved this the minute I took it out of the box.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Wasn't going to play it the whole four hour gig the other night but I ended up doing just that. Plays really well. Think I will keep this one for a while.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
I liked the tone on the single back pickup. Don't really like the tone on both pickups. I could probably change that on my Marshall amp. The pickups were a lot hotter than the guitar I have been using.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
The finish is fantastic. I just hope I don't scratch it.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Had a string buzz at the first fret for the top three strings after I tuned it up. Raised the action a little and it plays fine.
