If you’re more of a grab-and-go type musician, a gig bag is the best way to pack and carry your gear. They’re lightweight, cost-effective, and still keep your instrument nice and protected. Just like their hardshell cases, Gator makes bags for nearly every instrument, make, and model. Whatever you need to carry, they have you covered!
Gator features three lines of amazing gig bags:

Instruments aren’t the only pieces of equipment that need to come to your next gig. What about all the goodies on your rack!? Well, Gator didn’t leave them out, either. Their incredible lineup of rack cases keep everything together and protected whether you’re going down the street or across the country for your next show.
Gator makes a wide range of rack cases to fit nearly any setup. They have small portable cases, large wheely cases, and even cases that transform into a table! No matter how you like to transport your goodies, Gator has a rack case for you.
Sitting around the kitchen table, Crystal Morris and her father Jerry Freed decided it was time to start their very own case company. They just needed a name. Living in Florida, they knew firsthand there’s nothing tougher than an alligator. It seemed like the perfect fit to represent the durability of their products, so they named their new case company Gator.
The company was founded in 2000, and Gator quickly developed their first line of molded plastic guitar cases. They revealed their amazing cases at that year’s NAMM show in Nashville, Tennessee, and the rest is history!
Gator quickly took off as one of the premier instrument and equipment case manufacturers in the industry. Their product lines expanded well beyond just guitars to include everything from DJ and pro audio to IT, general utility, other band instruments, and percussion.
In 2008, Gator acquired a larger manufacturing facility in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, where they were able to expand production and include more high-tech manufacturing processes.
By 2014, demand for amazing Gator cases had grown exponentially, and they were able to open their very own state-of-the-art 180,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Columbia City, Indiana to take their case production to the next level.
Today, Gator offers more than 1,000 different products to protect nearly any piece of gear you can imagine. You can find cases made from rotational-molded plastics, vacuum-formed plastics, wood, sewn fabrics, EVA materials, and more to suit any need, budget, or preference. If you want to protect your gear from the dangers of the road, Gator cases are ready to handle whatever you can throw their way!
