And if you used AMS Rewards Points to purchase an item and end up returning the item that originally earned the points, we’ll reduce the amount of your refund by the amount redeemed on another order. This adjustment is not a fee, penalty, or charge, but a reconciliation to reflect that rewards are earned only on completed and retained purchases. Any refund adjustment reflects the reversal of unearned promotional value and does not increase the purchase price, impose an additional charge, or alter any finance charge, interest, or payment obligation.

For example, if you purchased an item for $200 on order A and earned $10 in reward dollars and then used the $10 in reward dollars on order B, if you return the $200 item on order A, we will refund you $190 dollars. This is because order B used reward dollars which really weren’t earned due to returning the item on order A.

Yes, points expire after 180 days — or 6 months if you can’t find a calculator. Expiration applies uniformly and is unrelated to any form of credit, payment method, or financing activity. To track when your points are going to expire, simply look in My Account. We’ll also remind you of expiring points periodically via emails and texts so you don’t miss out.
