Founded in 2005, Golden Age Project is a company that has grown to become a fixture in the world of audio recording and music production. When they got their start the studio landscape was changing, and people were embracing the freedom and flexibility that came with producing music from practically anywhere. Large studios no longer had to be the gatekeepers and people wanted professional recording gear at a price that didn't break the bank. Golden Age Project took note and released the PRE-73 microphone preamp, which was based on the sound and style of the legendary (and very expensive) Neve 1073. It all started with a simple mission - build it to perform, build it for reliability, and make it accessible. The PRE-73 has been an essential piece for numerous studios ever since. With those popular PRE-73 series of microphone preamps leading the way alongside their compressors and limiters, Golden Age Project hardware is high on performance at a much more affordable price point and slots into any production setup with ease!
