Reverend builds guitars in South Korea using korina (a tonewood more associated with early Gibson designs), which immediately tells you these aren't standard-issue electrics. The Bass Contour control is equally unusual: a passive filter that shapes low-end response without adding circuitry to the signal path, genuinely useful for players who move between clean and high-gain sounds throughout a set. Solid-body and semi-hollow options cover a wide range of styles.
