His achievements in the field of electronic music are staggering - he moved sound design forward by designing the Prophet-5, the first polyphonic synth armed with a built-in microprocessor. He was also a pioneer of MIDI technology - after all, he was the one who originally created the now-commonplace acronym! Armed with vast knowledge and decades of expertise in both hardware and software fields, he went to work creating the newest generation of synths, sound modules, and drum machines.
