Paired with a solid Sitka spruce top, the 400s respond well to both strumming and picking, making them a versatile choice for most applications. With Taylor's breakthrough behind-the-saddle piezo pickup, the Expression System 2, as an option, these deliver high-performance amplified tone that gigging players can rely on night after night. Contemporary appointments include crisp white binding, Italian acrylic dot inlays, and a 3-ring rosette. Most models are available with an optional Venetian cutaway for easy access to the upper register.
