Plug in, turn up, and prepare to peel the paint off the walls. The EVH Wolfgang Special is a high-performance, heavy-hitting powerhouse built for players who demand versatility, value, and venom. We paired a resonant basswood body with a sleek arched top to deliver a guitar that looks as ferocious as it sounds. It is a finely tuned machine inspired by Eddie Van Halen's exacting specifications, designed to give you the ultimate platform for energetic riffing and blazing lead lines.
Say goodbye to sluggish, sticky necks and hello to a highway of harmonious havoc. Your fretting hand gets a serious upgrade with the robust, graphite-reinforced quartersawn baked maple neck. It shrugs off climate changes and delivers rock-solid stability night after night. We topped it with a lightning-fast 12”-16” compound radius ebony fingerboard that flattens out in the upper registers for beautifully buttery, choke-free bends. It is slick, it is speedy, and it perfectly accommodates your most ambitious fretboard acrobatics.
Prepare to command a colossal wall of sound. Loaded with dual custom-designed EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbucking pickups, this tone machine pumps out punchy, articulate voicings with endlessly singing sustain. Dive-bomb into the deepest sonic abyss with the EVH-branded Floyd Rose locking tremolo, knowing your tuning stays locked perfectly tight. Need to drop to D in a heartbeat? The clever D-Tuna does it with a single, simple flick. Plus, a brilliant treble bleed circuit keeps your high-end bite crisp and clear, even when you roll back the volume knob.
