The Fender Blues Junior IV proves you don't need a Marshall stack to shake the walls. This 15-watt, all-tube combo has long been a favorite for both bedroom players and touring musicians, and this fourth-generation model raises the bar. Featuring a modified preamp for added fullness, a smoother spring reverb, and a 12" Celestion A-Type speaker for a warm, balanced sound, this little powerhouse punches well above its weight.
Whether you want vintage Fender cleans or creamy tube overdrive, the Blues Junior IV delivers without needing a roadie or a second mortgage.
Tone That Punches Above Its Weight
The Blues Junior IV doesn't just sound good — it sounds right. The modified preamp circuit delivers greater tonal definition and clarity, even when you're cranking the gain and flirting with breakup. You get all the articulation you need to cut through a dense mix, while the Celestion A-Type speaker adds smooth highs, a laid-back midrange, and full, round lows that make every note feel like it matters.
Modified Preamp Circuitry: Engineered for increased fullness and clarity, so your tone stays articulate whether you're playing clean jazz chords or blues-soaked bends.
Celestion 12" A-Type Speaker: This British-voiced driver delivers quintessential American Fender tones with a rock 'n' roll edge and a distinctly modern roar when pushed.
15 Watts of All-Tube Power: Driven by three 12AX7 preamp tubes and two EL84 power tubes, this amp offers warm, responsive tube saturation that responds to your playing dynamics like a musical conversation.
Ditch the Digital, Dive into Dreamy Reverb
Spring reverb can be a tricky beast — sometimes it’s a beautiful ambient wash, other times it's a splashy, uncontrollable mess. The Blues Junior IV’s modified reverb circuit walks that tightrope perfectly. It offers the same luscious, dimensional sound you know and love, but with improved smoothness that prevents your tone from turning into a muddy puddle. Dial in a touch for subtle depth or crank it for full-on surf-rock shimmer without sacrificing clarity.
3-Band EQ: Treble, Middle, and Bass controls provide versatile tone shaping, allowing you to achieve anything from sharp metal tones to smooth jazz without external EQ.
Ideal for Pedals: With enhanced headroom and a highly responsive input, the Blues Junior IV works seamlessly with your favorite stompboxes and high-output pickups.
Enhanced Spring Reverb: The updated reverb circuit delivers rich, deep tones without harshness, allowing you to add subtle ambiance or fully immerse your sound.
Dressed to Thrill, Built to Last
Great tone is only part of the equation — you need the right look, too. The Blues Junior IV combines classic Fender style with modern touches: a lightly aged silver grille cloth, ivory chickenhead knobs, black textured vinyl, and a durable steel-reinforced plastic handle that won’t fail you during load-outs. Weighing just 31.5 pounds, it’s easy to carry to rehearsals, gigs, or studio sessions without breaking your back.
Vintage-Inspired Design: A subtly aged silver grille cloth and sleek black control panel give this amp classic Fender style and standout stage appeal.
FAT Switch with Footswitch: Kick in a pronounced midrange boost for solos or thicker rhythm tones — perfect for cutting through a live mix without maxing out the volume knob.
Compact and Portable: At 18" x 16" x 9.81" and weighing in at 31.5 lbs, this amp is ready to hit the stage or studio at a moment's notice.
Your New Go-To Amp
The Fender Blues Junior IV refuses to compromise. It delivers the rich, full-bodied tube tone you crave in a package small enough to carry yet loud enough to command attention. Whether you're tracking in the studio, jamming with friends, or holding down the backline at your next gig, this amp is as flexible as it is reliable. It's ready to help you sound like the player you've always wanted to be.

After All, It's The Blues Junior
Silly good tone that's off the charts. I am using a Player Strat. It matches up wonderfully with the amp. For a tube amp in the medium-high end range the Blues Junior is a phenomenal choice.
