Uncompromising Sound
At the heart of Catalina EVO is the sound of carefully selected Gretsch kits, captured in high resolution. Whether USA Custom, Brooklyn or Broadkaster, modern or vintage instruments, all samples feature extensive dynamics, selectable microphone layers and round-robin sampling for a remarkably organic playing experience.
Make Yourself at Home
Two essential elements create a natural and responsive playing experience: the physical construction and the technical signal processing. Full-size shells, high-quality 3-ply mesh heads, balanced cymbals, and a real hi-hat with bottom cymbal provide a familiar and intuitive playing feel. Our multi-sensor trigger technology and fully playable 3-zone cymbals with 360° triggering ensure precise, dynamic response, giving you excellent control, movement, and expression.
Unpack, Set Up, Play
Catalina EVO comes with a complete hardware set from the lightweight Gretsch Explorer series, providing the essential stands and pedals you need to start playing right away.
Built for Home. Ready for the Stage
Whether you’re practicing at home or performing live on stage, Catalina EVO adapts to your needs with versatile connectivity options. Bluetooth Audio & MIDI, separate direct outputs, and additional trigger inputs give you the flexibility to expand your setup as your needs grow.
Easy to Use. Total Control
Spend less time in menus and more time playing. The sound module provides quick access to essential settings such as kit selection and headphone volume, while the Gretsch E-Drum Remote app lets you dive deeper. Edit kits, adjust trigger settings, update firmware, and access built-in practice tools – all through a clean, intuitive interface.
Practice with Focus. Play Better
Integrated training tools help you improve your timing, consistency, and technique—so you can get more out of every practice session.
