By placing both drivers at the same acoustic center, Kali eliminates the off-axis lobing that plagues traditional two-way designs, giving you a stereo image that remains consistent whether you're dead center or slightly off to the side.
Coaxial Design: The 4-inch optimized midrange driver also functions as a precise waveguide for the 1-inch textile dome tweeter, ensuring controlled directivity at the critical 2800 Hz crossover point. This creates consistent high-mid and high-frequency performance, both on- and off-axis, so everyone hears the same balanced sound.
True Point Source Precision: With the woofer crossing over at just 280 Hz, the IN-5 acts as an acoustic point source throughout the midrange and high frequencies. This ensures a precise stereo image with accurate instrument and vocal placement — eliminating fuzzy or unclear spatial details.
