The coaxial design integrates the specially manufactured 15" woofer with a 3" voice coil and 3" titanium tweeter into a true point source. The common-motor-design enhances the coherence and timing accuracy of the audio signal, resulting in particularly natural and detailed sound reproduction. The rotatable, BEM-optimized horn ensures precise dispersion characteristics while simultaneously providing horn loading for both the woofer and tweeter. This dual horn loading enables accurate sound wave bundling down to the midrange (approx. 500 Hz), offering a significant advantage in acoustically demanding environments by directing the sound energy exactly where it is needed. Thanks to its airflow-optimized bass reflex ports, the ICOA PRO 15 A delivers a solid low-end down to 50 Hz, ensuring an impressive full-range experience.
The powerful Class-D amplifier delivers up to 1500 W RMS (3000 W peak) and 135 dB max. SPL, providing sufficient headroom when powerful sound is required. The modern SysCore DSP with FIR/IIR filters and advanced limiters ensures distortion-free sound and safe operation with maximum clarity and punch – even at high output levels. Two line/mic input channels and an XLR mix output enable various signal sources to be connected and forwarded. Four application presets (including a low-latency monitor), delay function, and parametric 4-band EQs for both input and master channels allow for precise settings.
All settings can be controlled intuitively via the colour display with One-Knob control or through the free "ICOA PRO" app. The app enables quick and wireless adjustments and allows you to connect multiple loudspeakers. A stereo setup with up to two tops and four subs, including direct music streaming via Bluetooth 5.1 and TWS, can be configured and set up in the app within seconds. A status LED on the front of the loudspeaker simplifies identification and provides feedback on the limiter’s operation when needed.
The rugged ABS enclosure with steel reinforcement, a durable front grille, and a 50° tilt angle makes the ICOA PRO 15 A an excellent and robust loudspeaker, even as a floor monitor. Four ergonomic handles ensure optimal grip for easy setup and teardown. When used with a stand, a tilt angle of 0° or 5° can be selected. Whether used vertically or horizontally, the rotatable horn and the multiple mounting options, such as 6 × M10 rigging points and the EasyMount truss bracket allow for flexible deployment in a wide variety of environments.
