excellent monitors, awesome resolution and detail,.. sound-stage is expansive, very immersive,..near-field listening is just a 3D kinda experience. This new line from Mackie provides what many of us as audioholics expect.

Can't beat the price for what you get
This 5" delivers just enough low end for small room setups. The 10" sub option is a little too much, would be better going with the 8" monitors if you feel the need for more bass but still accurate.

well worth the money i say....
i like the sonics compared to other monitors.altho 1 speaker came with a bad mid-woofer, i can still say they are true to the music. clean, go low enough for most with presence. the 6" must really rock at 45 HZ.
