A strong foundation is needed to support any structure and the professional Fender Bassman amps are always up to the task.

If you’re looking for a bass combo but don’t know where to start, there are a few things that need to be taken into consideration. Unwavering consistency. A classic and stylish build. Lean and simple controls. Lightweight, durable, and easy to transport. The Fender Rumble lineup of solid-state bass combos check all of those boxes – and do so at incredible prices. When it comes to providing value, you’d be hard-pressed to find anything better than a Rumble!

The entire line includes a 3-band EQ for tone shaping, a headphone input for silent practice and an AUX input for your devices so you can play along with your favorite tracks. The Rumble 15 (15-watt, 1x8), Rumble 25 (25-watt, 1x8, adds ‘Overdrive’ and ‘Contour’ switches), and Rumble 40 (40-watt, 1x10, footswitch input, XLR line output, adds ‘Bright,’ ‘Contour,’ and ‘Vintage’ switches, plus ‘Overdrive’ with level control) are sturdy, lightweight combos that are just the thing for practice rooms, rehearsal spaces, jam sessions, and intimate gigs.

This next batch of Fender Rumble models are the gig-ready workhorses - they are also loaded up with the footswitch input, XLR line output, ‘Bright,’ ‘Contour,’ and ‘Vintage’ switches, plus ‘Overdrive’ with level control. When you jump up to the Rumble 100 (100-watt, 1x12), Rumble 200 (200-watt, 1x15), and Rumble 500 combos (500-watt, 2x10), you will be greeted with the commanding power and presence needed to tackle live shows in those larger spaces.

If you crave the same Rumble platform with additional features and technology, Fender has you covered! The Rumble LT25 is a smart 25-watt, 1x8 practice amp fitted with digital presets that touch on popular amp models and effects, all wrapped up in a straightforward, easy-to-navigate user interface. The Rumble Studio 40 (40-watt, 1x10) and Rumble Stage 800 (800-watt, 2x10) have followed in the footsteps of the successful Mustang GT lineup of guitar amps, bringing Bluetooth audio streaming, USB connectivity, and WiFi connectivity to your setup. Access plenty of features, unleash effects a-plenty, experiment with historic amp and cabinet models, and interact with a huge library of user-generated tones.

So, how did Fender bass amps get their start? Well, everything actually began with the Fender Precision Bass, which was released in 1951. You see, the P Bass was such a new instrument, one that was so ahead of the curve, that it didn’t even have its own special amp to plug into – it was originally marketed to go with a Fender guitar amp. Tasked with urgency and a deadline, Leo Fender and his team got to work designing and building their first bass amp that could not only handle the Precision Bass but also allow it to shine. Unveiled in 1952 and given the name ‘Bassman’ by the company’s sale chief Don Randall, the amp was a simple yet powerful device that included a volume knob, a tone knob, two inputs, a 15” Jensen speaker, and featured special closed-back construction to enhance bass response. The public was amazed at the power and volume that the Bassman demonstrated, largely because earlier bass amp alternatives had to be cobbled together just to make it work. As with practically everything new Fender was making in the 1950s, tweaks and adjustments were made to that original model and the stage was set for the rapid evolution and expansion of their bass amps. Over the course of the past 70 years, Fender bass amps have been the vehicles of choice for countless artists and continually have their praises sung from all corners of the world.
