When you need serious low-end but don't want to break your back hauling a massive rig, the Fender Rumble 40 V3 is your new best friend.
This compact combo hits the sweet spot between portability and power, delivering 40 watts of pure bass bliss through a punchy 10-inch speaker. It's robust enough to hold its own at small gigs or rehearsals, yet light enough that you won't need a chiropractor on speed dial after loading out.
Tweak Your Tone to Perfection
Finding your signature sound shouldn't require a degree in audio engineering. The Rumble 40 V3 puts intuitive, powerful tone-shaping tools right at your fingertips, so you can spend less time tweaking knobs and more time laying down the groove.
Versatile Voicing Palette: With the push of a button, you can instantly reshape your sound. Engage "Bright" for a high-end shimmer, "Contour" for a gritty mid-scoop perfect for slapping, or "Vintage" to summon the warm, old-school tube vibe that made Fender famous.
10-Inch Fender Special Design Speaker: Don’t be fooled by its size — this custom speaker delivers a tight, focused low end with a punchy, clear sound that stands out in the mix without feeling "boxy."
Built-in Overdrive: Need a little dirt? The switchable overdrive circuit lets you add anything from a subtle growl to full-on aggressive grit without needing extra pedals. It’s perfect for when you need to cut through the mix with a bit of attitude.
Built for the Working Bassist
This isn't just a practice amp; it's a tool designed to make your musical life easier. Whether you're jamming in a bedroom or recording in a studio, the Rumble 40 V3 is packed with thoughtful features that enhance your playability and workflow.
Silent Practice: The 1/8" headphone output lets you rock out at 2 AM without waking the neighbors (or your roommates).
Jam Along: Plug your phone or media player into the 1/8" Aux input and play along with your favorite tracks or backing loops. It's the perfect way to tighten up your timing and learn new songs.
Classic Aesthetics, Modern Utility
The Rumble 40 is dressed to impress and ready to connect. It combines modern connectivity with the timeless aesthetic that has defined Fender for decades.
Stage and Studio Ready: The rear-panel XLR line out with ground lift makes it a breeze to connect directly to a PA system or recording interface. You get a clean, consistent signal every time, no microphone required.
Classic Fender Vibes: With its black textured vinyl covering, silver grille cloth, and vintage-style radio knobs, this amp looks as good as it sounds. It’s a stylish addition to any stage or studio setup.
The Final Lowdown
The Fender Rumble 40 V3 proves that good things really do come in small packages. It delivers seismic tone, incredible versatility, and professional features in a lightweight design that you can carry with one hand. It's simply one of the best grab-and-go bass amps on the market.
Fender Rumble 40 V3 Features:

I was skeptical at first when I removed it from shipping box. It seemed way to light. But after a few band practices, I am very impressed. I play a '73 rickenbacker 4001, and it sounds great for small practices. I will be using the xlr direct out in a few weeks gor a live gig.
