The KeyLab 61 mk3 Ultra isn't just a MIDI controller — it's a studio centerpiece that refuses to blend into the background. Dressed in a bold, limited-edition orange finish, this 61-key powerhouse was built for producers and performers who take their craft seriously but aren't afraid to make a statement while doing it.
Under that eye-catching exterior lives Arturia's most refined keybed, deepest DAW integration, and most intuitive control layout yet. It's the kind of gear that makes your studio look like you know what you're doing — and actually delivers on that promise.
Running a session shouldn't feel like filing taxes. The KeyLab mk3 Ultra strips away the technical friction so you can stay locked into the creative zone. A full-color high-resolution display, 8 contextual buttons, and fully customizable controls mean you spend less time menu-diving and more time actually making music. Whether you're tweaking synths or dialing in drum patterns, everything you need is right there in front of you — no manual required (but one's included, just in case).
Most MIDI controllers just throw notes at your software and hope for the best. The KeyLab mk3 Ultra actually talks back. Bi-directional communication means your DAW sends real-time contextual data directly to the display — so what you see on screen matches what's happening in your session, instantly. It plays nice with Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Cubase, and Bitwig Studio out of the box, with dedicated mappings and MCU/HUI support that make setup genuinely painless.
Good ideas don't wait around, and the KeyLab mk3 Ultra is built to keep up. Revamped Scale, Arpeggiator, and Chord modes give you the kind of compositional firepower that used to require a music theory degree and a lot of free time. Now you can build complex progressions, lock yourself to a key, or generate unpredictable melodic patterns with a few button presses. Couple that with velocity and aftertouch-sensitive keys, and every performance feels alive and expressive.
The Arturia KeyLab 61 mk3 Ultra is the complete package for producers and performers who want total control without the usual technical headaches. It ships with included software — Analog Lab Pro, Mini V, Piano V, Augmented Strings, Rev PLATE-140, Ableton Live Lite, Native Instruments Komplete 15 Select, a 2-month Loopcloud subscription, and Melodics lessons — making it one of the best-value MIDI controllers on the market before you've even played a single note.

The Ultra is a limited-edition variant featuring a distinctive orange finish and matching "Ultra" skin, giving it a unique visual identity while maintaining the same acclaimed hardware, keybed, and feature set as the standard mk3. It's the same professional controller with a bolder personality.
The KeyLab mk3 Ultra is designed with professional producers and performers in mind, but its intuitive layout, full-color display, and included software, which includes Melodics lessons, make it accessible for serious beginners looking to invest in gear they won't outgrow. If you're starting out, it's a significant investment; if you're scaling up, it's a smart one.
The KeyLab mk3 Ultra works seamlessly with Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Cubase, and Bitwig Studio via dedicated MIDI mappings, and also supports MCU and HUI protocols for broader DAW compatibility. It also integrates deeply with Arturia's own software suite for enhanced control and flexibility.
Yes, MIDI DIN In/Out ports allow you to connect and control hardware synthesizers, drum machines, and other MIDI-equipped instruments directly from the controller. This makes it a strong hub for hybrid studios that run both software and hardware setups side by side.
The KeyLab mk3 Ultra ships with a substantial software bundle valued at over $900, including Analog Lab Pro (2,000+ sounds), Mini V, Piano V, Augmented Strings, Rev PLATE-140, Ableton Live Lite, Native Instruments Komplete 15 Select (your choice of Beats, Band, or Electronic), a 2-month Loopcloud subscription, and a Melodics subscription with dozens of lessons.
