The M1370BHC is a retrofit kit designed to adapt an existing wired Audix Microboom System for wireless operation. It contains the M1370BHC hypercardioid microphone designed to operate on 4.5 – 5.5 v bias power supplied by Audix, Shure and other popular body pack transmitters (not included) that provide 4.5 to 5.5 volts power, two 6’ cables terminated in TA3F and TA4F to plug into a wireless body pack and the Audix MBWFLEX to mount the body pack transmitter to a standard straight mic stand. Standard 48 V phantom power voltage from an audio mixer or recording device will not damage the microphone, however it will not pass signal.
