Marking the celebration of BOSS’s 50th anniversary, the limited-edition SD-1-B50A Super OverDrive sports a metallic finish; silver thumb screw; gold-capped knobs; and commemorative 50-year anniversary emblem. Appearing in exclusive livery with a dedicated 4-digit serial number and bespoke packaging, the SD-1-B50A features the same beloved circuitry as the standard production SD-1 Super OverDrive. This collectible version is available in strictly limited numbers of no more than 7,000 units worldwide.

Its the SD1. . . c'mon
Got a great AMS deal on this and so glad I bought it- I have 5 Marshalls and a Peavey 6505 II etc and the SD1 is SO useful and versatile -really compliments an amp and almost gives you a whole new channel!

Best OD pedal for the price
This pedal is great for a clean or to tighten up a bass heavy amp. Beware though it cuts bass. I use it in front of my tonex pedal on bass heavy amp types like rectifier and bogner stuff does a great job and amazing for lead solos, adds a little color and makes it sound even better.

I bought this pedal for nostalgia purposes since I have an older SD-1. The Boss box the pedal came in was a bit damaged when it arrived, but the pedal seems like was not damaged.
