Did my first party with these bad boys! It rocked. The best part is some of the guests realized that I didn't have my speakers plugged into an outlet. 5 hours of music and it only dropped to 80%.

I picked up the 12 because I have 2 8's already. The sound is there, but I wanted a little more low-end. EV has done a good job with the battery life, but I'll use the 12 for satellite/cocktail speakers and my 8's for ceremonies and small functions. You can't beat the size of the 8's and how quickly...
