This Jaguar helps you anchor heavy mixes with crushing, articulate low-end that never turns to mud. The Fender Limited Edition Player Fusion Jaguar Baritone takes one of the most iconic shapes in guitar history and rebuilds it for players chasing the depths. With a 27-inch scale tuned B to B, it's purpose-built for drop tunings and the kind of foundation-shaking low-end that sits at the bottom of a heavy mix. It all starts with a solid alder body that delivers balanced, resonant tone with real authority. If you want a baritone that goes lower and bites harder, this stealthy black machine belongs in your hands.
The longer scale means tighter, clearer strings, and the playability keeps up. The bolt-on maple neck wears a smooth satin urethane finish that keeps your hand gliding instead of grabbing, so long sets never slow you down. Up top, a 12-inch radius ebony fingerboard stays flat and frictionless across every position, so your bends ring clean instead of choking off across that extended scale. Loaded with 22 jumbo frets, this fingerboard gives your fretting hand a wide-open runway for blistering runs and chunky, down-tuned chords. Heavy .013-.062 nickel-plated steel strings keep your low B tight, punchy, and ready to roar.
Plug in and prepare to dominate the low end. Two Player II Modified High-Output Humbuckers handle the heavy lifting, digging into every chord and cutting through even the densest mix with serious punch and saturation. But here's the clever twist: the classic Jaguar rhythm circuit gets a meaningful upgrade. Spin-a-Split wiring via Fender roller pots progressively transforms your humbuckers into single coils, dialing in a leaner, more cutting tone whenever you want it. Add the TBX Tone circuit for even more powerful tone-shaping, and you've got a sprawling palette at your fingertips. Down at the bridge, an Adjusto-Matic bridge with a stop tailpiece locks in your sustain and intonation, while deluxe staggered cast/sealed locking tuners keep your pitch dead-on, set after set.
The Player Fusion Jaguar Baritone is Fender for the generation that plays heavy and plays it low. It looks fierce, plays fast, and keeps drop tunings tight, articulate, and powerful no matter how far down you go. Whether you're tracking in the studio or commanding the stage, this limited edition baritone has the range and the muscle to keep up. Choose yours today, tuck it into the included deluxe gig bag, and go make some serious noise.
