Sometimes the gear on the computer screen seems like a better fit than when you actually get your hands on it. We understand, and that’s why AMS offers an industry-leading 45-day money-back guarantee. If you’re not happy with an item, you have a full month and a half to send it back! We don’t want to just sell you gear. We want to sell you the RIGHT gear — even if it takes a few tries.

That’s why we offer in-house 0% financing, and you don’t even have to open a new line of credit! Spread out payments on your credit card to simplify financing and avoid hefty late fees or service charges. Cost shouldn’t interfere with your creativity.
In a world of amp modelers, impulse responses, and digital trickery, the Fryette LX II is here to cut through it all. This is the world’s first 1U stereo tube power amp, with 50 watts per channel (or a full 100W in bridged mono) of responsive, analog power. For players who demand the dynamics and warmth of real tubes, the LX II is a no-compromise win for running preamps, modelers, or full digital rigs into actual speaker cabinets with soul.
The heart of the Fryette LX II is its four premium-matched 6L6GC power tubes, supported by a pair of 12AX7s and Fryette’s patented transformer technology, which allows the entire amp to live in a slim, road-ready 1U chassis. Every inch of it is engineered for tone, reliability, and the kind of feel you just can’t fake.
Whether you’re re-amping in the studio or playing arenas, the Fryette LX II proves one thing: good tone doesn’t have to be bulky. It just has to be built right.
The Fryette LX II delivers dual 50-watt channels of Class AB tube power that responds like a living, breathing amplifier. If you need more punch, flip it into bridged mono for a full 100-watt output — great for mono rigs or extra headroom on bigger stages. With 4/8/16 ohm impedance switching, it’s ready for whatever cab configuration your rig demands.
Choose between Linear and Enhanced tone modes to match your needs. Use Linear mode for a neutral, full-range response perfect for detailed modeling accuracy. Switch to Enhanced when you want tube color, harmonic saturation, and the chewy mids and tight low-end that make guitarists grin. Each channel features a Presence and Depth switch with internal trim pots, letting you fine-tune your punch and sparkle right where it matters — at the power stage.
Key features:
This amp thrives in real-world rigs — bridging the gear gap with finesse.
The Fryette LX II feels like the amplifier your modeler always wanted to be. It’s compact, cooperates with any rig — including pedal-heavy or digital-first setups — and refuses to flatten every nuance that matters.
