Each is unique and full of character, the 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue guitar has a beautiful plain maple top plus it is the beginning of the burst. The 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue features all the painstaking historic construction methods of the famous '59 Reissues with a few historically-accurate spec differences that allow it stand on its own. Like the 1958 originals, it has narrow frets which help more of the fingerboard wood to be heard in the tone profile. It also has a round, chunky neck profile for a full feel and maximum bending leverage.

Great reproduction
They're not 100% but with the cost of a genuine '58 is just not reasonable. Very close in feel to the 1 was lucky enough to play once and never forgot how nice. Tone is warm and airy like it should be. Overall, best guitar I have ever owned.

I got this as a dent n scratch without seeing the actual guitar i was buying. I was expecting a plain top r8 but what it was delivered was a very beautiful and gorgeous quilted/flamed top. The guitar was perfect in every way. Sadly i had to sell it and got instead a cs special dc which fits my style...
