Gibson ES335 Dot Semi-Hollowbody Electric Guitar

The Gibson ES-335 Dot transports you straight to the heart of rock, blues, and jazz. This legendary semi-hollowbody electric guitar delivers the perfect marriage of acoustic warmth and electric punch, making it the jack of all trades.

From smoky jazz clubs to stadium stages, the ES-335 has been the secret weapon of guitar legends for decades. With its classic semi-hollowbody design and vintage appointments, this instrument doesn't just play music — it practically writes hit songs for you.

Gibson ES-335 Dot Tone That’s Worth Its Weight

Tone That's Worth Its Weight in Gold Records

Whether you're chasing silky smooth jazz tones or searing rock solos, the ES-335 delivers a sound so iconic it's practically trademarked.

  • Calibrated T-Type Humbucking Pickups: These aren't your average pickups; they're tone-seeking missiles that deliver everything from crystal-clear jazz chords to face-melting rock solos. Whether you're channeling your inner B.B. King or unleashing your rock god persona, these pickups have your back (and your front, and your sides).
  • Semi-Hollowbody Construction: The 3-ply maple/poplar/maple body gives you the best of both worlds — acoustic resonance that breathes life into your notes and solid-body sustain that makes every note sing.
  • Hand-Wired Control Assembly: Because sometimes the old ways are the best ways, this hand-wired setup delivers vintage tone with modern reliability. It's like having a master craftsman living inside your guitar, constantly fine-tuning your sound.

A Neck That Practically Plays Itself

The ES-335 Dot doesn't just sound incredible — it feels like it was custom-made for your hands, even if you've never touched one before.

  • Rounded "C" Mahogany Neck: This neck profile is the Goldilocks of guitar necks — not too thick, not too thin, but just right. It's comfortable enough for marathon practice sessions and substantial enough to give you that authentic vintage feel.
  • 22 Plek'd Frets: Thanks to modern Plek technology, these frets are leveled to perfection, ensuring effortless playability across the entire fretboard. It's like having a professional setup straight from the factory, minus the wait time and the awkward small talk with your guitar tech.
  • Rosewood Fingerboard with Rolled Binding: The rolled binding isn't just pretty to look at — it makes those upper fret bends smoother than a jazz musician's pickup lines. Your fingers will thank you during those soulful string-bending sessions.

Gibson ES-335 Dot Hardware That Means Business

Hardware That Means Business

This isn't just another pretty face in the guitar case — the ES-335 Dot is built with the kind of attention to detail that would make a Swiss watchmaker jealous.

  • ABR-1 Tune-o-matic Bridge with Titanium Saddles: This legendary bridge design has been keeping guitars in tune since before your grandfather's guitar hero dreams. The titanium saddles add extra sustain and a touch of space-age sophistication.
  • Vintage Deluxe Tuners with Keystone Buttons: These aren't just functional — they're conversation starters. The iconic keystone buttons scream vintage class while keeping your tuning rock-solid, even during the most aggressive headbanging sessions.
  • Vintage Satin Nitrocellulose Lacquer Finish: This finish doesn't just protect your guitar — it actually gets better with age, developing character marks that tell the story of every song you've played. It's like having a leather jacket for your guitar.

The Legend Continues

The Gibson ES-335 Dot Semi-Hollowbody Electric Guitar represents more than just an instrument — it's your ticket to joining the ranks of guitar legends who've made this model their weapon of choice. From Chuck Berry's duck walks to modern indie rock anthems, this guitar has been there, done that, and gotten the t-shirt (probably signed by Clapton).

Whether you're a seasoned pro looking for that perfect studio guitar or an ambitious player ready to step up your game, the ES-335 Dot delivers professional-grade tone and playability that'll make you wonder how you ever lived without it.

Gibson ES-335's are made to be played.

I nave a number of Gibson ES-335's (4). This is my second Satin Finish. I am not player that has to have the great looking guitar. I have them to be played. There is just something about the different tone than a solid body guitar. I find the Satin finishes are a bit more resistant to scratching. I ...
