Today’s reintroduction of the D-50 Standard manifests vintage charm with timeless appointments such as a tortoiseshell celluloid pickguard, white ABS binding, checkered back center strip inlay and Guild’s peak logo inlay on the headstock.
Scalloped Adirondack Spruce Bracing
Guild adds scalloped Adirondack bracing for power, nuance and responsiveness. Combined with a Sitka Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides, this bracing provides a punchy tone with smooth top end.
Indian Rosewood fingerboard and bridge
An Indian Rosewood fingerboard caps the comfortable C-profile Mahogany neck. Premium materials such as an Indian Rosewood bridge, 20:1 open-gear tuners, and a hand-cut bone nut and saddle finish off the D-50 Standard.
