The dreadnought-sized Guild D-50 Standard Antique Burst acoustic guitar is meticulously crafted in the USA*. The D-50 guitar was originally introduced in 1963 and quickly became renowned for its rich and powerful sound—making it especially popular among folk, country, blues, and rock players. The guitar’s solid Indian rosewood back and sides provide a full and rich tone, while its solid Sitka spruce top adds brightness and a lively response, and its comfortable C-Shape neck makes it easy to play. An Antique Burst Vintage Gloss nitro finish that highlights the natural beauty of the woods, complemented by a tortoiseshell pickguard, pearloid rosette, Guild Peak headstock inlay, and Deluxe Vintage tuners with butterbean buttons, gives the D-50 Standard Antique Burst a timeless look. A deluxe hardshell case and a Certificate of Authenticity are included.
Also available is the D-50E Standard Antique Burst, which includes an integrated L.R. Baggs Element VTC active pickup system with Volume and Tone controls.
