Numerous Starfire models were introduced throughout the 1960s, including both single- and double-cutaway guitars available with various pickup configurations and finishes and two basses. John Lennon, Dave Davies, Buddy Guy, Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, and Tom Fogerty all played Starfire guitars, and Phil Lesh and Jack Casady played Starfire basses.
