From the iconic albums of Led Zeppelin, Johnny Cash, Supertramp, Queen, ABBA, Michael Jackson, and more, and at the center of top studios worldwide — from New York's EastSide Sound to renowned academic facilities like Oxford University, and throughout Harrison’s home in Music City, Nashville — meet Harrison Flex10, a high-performance 10-in/12-out, 32-bit/192 kHz USB/ADAT audio interface inspired by the golden era of music.
Timeless Harrison Vibe
Harrison’s legacy begins in the 1970s, when founder Dave Harrison transformed the world of modern recording with the legendary 32 Series console. These iconic analog desks helped shape a golden era of music, capturing recordings that still inspire new generations. Known for their distinctive smooth sound and simple workflow, Harrison consoles became the focal point of studios worldwide.
Today, that legacy spans a broad ecosystem of modern tools with the classic Harrison vibe — from the flagship 32Classic console to the Mixbus DAW, Mixstrip channel strip, and Harrison’s 500 Series rack and modules — providing the next generation of artists and engineers with the tools to create timeless music. Now, Harrison’s heritage reaches further than ever before. Designed for producers and musicians seeking analog character, Flex10 brings Harrison’s renowned sonic signature into a versatile recording interface.
That golden ’70s Sound
Whether you’re just looking to upgrade your dull audio interface with some analog character, ready to replace an aging portable recorder or tape machine, or simply want that super-smooth Harrison sound found on countless records, Flex 10 offers the essentials: smooth analog tone shaping and classic saturation. It’s pure golden-era sound, without compromise, and now available on your desktop.
Two high-performance Harrison preamps sit at the front end, each featuring signature HDRIVE transformer saturation. The result: rich, musical tone straight from the source, with the unmistakable vibe of a ‘70s mixing board in your studio. Classic Harrison high-pass and low-pass filters, derived from the iconic 32 Series consoles, offer immediate, intuitive tone shaping—perfect for carving space around input sources and shaping your mix from the very first take. Two conveniently positioned front-panel instrument inputs allow quick and easy connection of your guitar, bass, or other instrument-level sources.
Beautifully musical and nostalgically inspiring. Flex10 can seamlessly switch between clear, detailed recordings and charming, warm transformer saturation, along with everything in between. Modern convenience meets traditional workflow with Flex-10, which features dedicated balanced insert points on both channels for easy integration of outboard gear, like your favorite compressor, Harrison 500 Series, or even that unpredictable boutique effects box that adds the special sauce.
Classic Analog meets Modern Digital
Just like the 32Classic console, FleX-10 combines analog heritage with modern digital compatibility. Next-generation 32-bit / 192 kHz converters deliver pristine capture, while 8 channels of ADAT I/O allow for larger recording sessions or seamless integration with your existing gear. Flex-10 is a natural centerpiece for your setup, whether in your studio or on the go.
Flexible monitoring provides two independent monitor outputs with dedicated level controls, along with multiple high-current headphone outputs for you and your collaborator. Need to connect your synths and drum machines? Flex10 includes MIDI I/O via 3.5mm TRS connectors, ensuring everything stays connected and under your control.
And in case you didn’t notice… Up front, eye-catching VU meters add movement, character, and just the right touch of ‘70s studio vibe to your setup. Strictly for ‘monitoring purposes,’ of course. Timeless tone meets modern design, bringing the golden era of recording to your studio - vintage rug not included.
FleX-10 is providing two channels of high-performance Harrison mic preamps and includes an H-DRIVE circuit which is a dedicated transformer effect allowing the flexibility to choose to variably drive the input signal into saturation. This unique feature is switchable in and out. Legendary Harrison analog High Pass and Low Pass filters are included in each preamp stage giving high quality, maximum filtering pre saturation.
