Headrush FRFR-108 MKII 2000-Watt Powered Cab

For the modern guitarist using amp modelers and pedalboards, finding an amplifier that faithfully reproduces your carefully crafted tones without adding its own color can feel like a quest. The Headrush FRFR-108 MKII is the solution.

This powerhouse pumps out 2,000 watts of pure, transparent, full-range flat-response (FRFR) power. It’s engineered to give you that authentic "amp in the room" feel, ensuring the sound you meticulously craft is exactly what you and your audience experience.

Headrush FRFR-108 MKII Your Rig’s Perfect Partner

    Your Rig's Perfect Partner

The FRFR-108 MKII is your ticket to tonal purity and sheer volume. This powered cabinet is built from the ground up to be the ultimate partner for your digital rig, giving you the headroom and clarity needed for any stage, rehearsal, or jam session. Its lightweight design and flexible setup options mean you get consistent, powerful sound wherever you play.

    • Massive 2,000-Watt Output: With 2,000 watts of peak power, you'll have more than enough headroom for any performance. This means your tone stays clean and dynamic, even at high volumes, without any unwanted breakup or distortion.
    • Precision-Voiced Drivers: The custom-tuned 8-inch woofer and high-frequency compression driver work together to deliver a precise, full-range response from 46Hz to 22kHz. Your amp and cab emulations will sound exactly as intended, with all their nuance and detail intact.
    • Onboard Bluetooth Connectivity: Stream backing tracks, practice along with your favorite songs, or play music during set breaks directly from your mobile device. The built-in Bluetooth adds a layer of convenience, eliminating the need for extra cables.

    Shape Your Sound with Ease

The FRFR-108 MKII isn't just about providing you with the essential raw power; it's about giving you the tools to sound your best in any environment, anytime. Its onboard controls are thoughtfully designed to help you quickly adapt to different rooms and stages, ensuring your tone always cuts through the mix exactly where you want it.

    • HPF Cut Switch: Tighten up your low-end in an instant. In a live mix, competing bass frequencies can turn your sound to mud. This switch carves out those problematic frequencies, allowing your guitar to sit perfectly in the mix.
    • Ground Lift Switch: Eliminate frustrating hums and buzzes caused by ground loops. A quick flip of this switch cleans up your signal, giving you a noise-free foundation for your tone.
    • Dual Combo Inputs: Two independent XLR + 1/4” combo inputs, each with its own volume control, give you the flexibility to connect your modeling pedal or pedalboard with ease. You can even connect two separate sources at once.

    I'm happy overall with the

I'm happy overall with the 108 MKll it fits a standard tripod of 35mm and sounds nice. I would recommend this or the 112MKll I'm using a headrush core going xlr into both the 112 and 108. All kinds of good tone out of these frfr speakers and the core.
