The Ibanez Mikro is no toy - made to the same high standards of the other GIO series guitars. The GRGM21 has the same high-output Infinity R pickups, the same construction, materials, set-up and inspection. It's just shorter, a 22.2 inch scale neck instead of 25.5 inch, and smaller. That makes it perfect for tour buses, songwriting, running scales while downloading and, of course, for young rockers and beginners.

Perfect for young shredders
I wanted a smaller functional electric for a 9 year old. Full size guitar bodies were hard for them to hold. This is perfectly a little smaller and functions great.

Perfect guitar for women with small hands!
I recently started to play the guitar, however I have small hands/fingers. I struggled practicing on my son's flying v. He had suggested that I purchase a 3/4 and he sent me the link. It's perfect! I'm 46 and just learning to play! I would not have been able to play without this guitar!
