If the guitar gods carved an instrument from pure adrenaline and floral dreams, it would be the Ibanez Steve Vai JEM77P. This isn't just a guitar; it's a six-stringed spectacle and a high-octane homage to one of rock's most revered instruments.
As part of the Ibanez Premium series, the JEM77P delivers the meticulous playability and explosive tone demanded by working professionals, all wrapped in a custom blue floral design that honors the original masterpiece. It’s built for those whose tone is as bold as their aesthetic.
You don't just play the JEM77P; you wear it like a badge of honor. From the iconic monkey grip to the intricate Tree of Life inlay, every inch of this guitar is designed to turn heads and melt faces. The American Basswood body provides a balanced, resonant foundation, while the stunning Blue Floral pattern ensures you're the center of attention before you even play a note.
Speed, comfort, and control — the JEM77P is engineered to get out of your way and let your fingers fly. The legendary Wizard neck profile is famously fast and flat, practically begging for sweeping arpeggios and lightning-fast legato runs. Paired with jumbo frets that have been given the Premium Fret Edge Treatment, this neck feels like a well-worn favorite right out of the gig bag.
Steve Vai's tone is legendary — thick, articulate, and dripping with harmonic richness. The JEM77P captures that magic with a specialized pickup configuration designed specifically for this instrument. Whether you need singing, violin-like sustain for a soaring solo or crisp, bell-like chime for clean passages, this HSH setup delivers a staggering array of sonic possibilities.
The Ibanez Steve Vai JEM77P is a testament to the enduring legacy of a true guitar innovator. It combines breathtaking visuals with uncompromising performance and a tonal versatility that can handle any gig, any session, and any stage. It's a premium instrument designed to inspire you to push your boundaries, play a little faster, and sound a whole lot better.
It's made in Indonesia as part of the Ibanez Premium line — pro quality without the Prestige price tag.
Think of them as cousins with different tastes. The JEM7V usually has an Alder body, Rosewood/Ebony fretboard, and DiMarzio Evolution pickups. The JEM77P rocks a Basswood body, Maple fretboard, and a fiery combo of Gravity Storm and Evolution pickups.
It has the legendary 5-piece Maple/Walnut Wizard neck. It’s famously thin, flat, and ridiculously fast — built for shredders.
Yes, it includes a durable gig bag to protect your prized possession on the go.
Absolutely, the DiMarzio Gravity Storm humbuckers are designed for versatility, but they scream when you want them to. They deliver a thick, articulate sound perfect for heavy metal and hard rock.
