Nita Stauss has always choosen Ibanez as her go-to weapon of choice since the beginning, inspired by her heroes such as Steve Vai and Shawn Lane. Now, one of her biggest dreams have come true - her very own Ibanez signature model.
Born and raised in Los Angeles and brought up by a musical family, Nita has been surrounded by music her entire life. It was only a matter of time until she picked up the guitar, and she has never looked back since. After years of touring the world and establishing her name in the LA rock scene, she joined Alice Cooper’s band in 2014. Since then she has become a household name in the guitar community, captivating audiences all over the world with her virtuosic chops and electric stage presence.
The JIVA10 is based on the S series and features Nita’s own personal touches, such as her signature pickups by DiMarzio and the special Beaten Path fingerboard inlay. The guitar’s finish was personally named by Nita as Deep Space Blonde, which is a gray burst on a natural Quilted Maple top. Nita named the guitar JIVA, which translates to one’s soul, a word found in Asian religions, and one that has a deep personal connection with Nita as well.

Taking it out the box was absolutely awesome!! I was mesmerized at how light the guitar is! Plugging the guitar into the amp and listening to how crisp it sounded was the best, I had to much fun learning the ins and outs of the guitar! And the playability is absolutely insane!
