1,000+ Presets: With over 1,075 programs, including multi-layered pianos and thick strings, you have a sound for every genre right out of the box. Plus, with 128MB of expansion PCM memory, you can load optional libraries to keep your palette fresh.
Pro-Grade Engine: Powered by Korg's EDS-i (Enhanced Definition Synthesis-integrated) sound engine, you get 120 voices of polyphony. This means you can layer sounds and play complex chords with the sustain pedal down without notes cutting out abruptly.
Studio Effects: Polish your tracks internally with 134 different effects. You can run up to seven effects simultaneously (five insert and two master), ranging from standard reverbs and delays to amp modeling and vocoders.
Sampling and Sequencing Made Simple
Sampling can be a headache on most workstations, but the KROSS 2 makes it easy. The built-in pad sampler lets you record and trigger audio instantly, transforming a standard keyboard performance into a full multimedia show.
16 Playable Pads: Trigger one-shot samples, sound effects, or even full backing tracks using the 16 front-panel pads. You can sample up to 14 seconds of stereo audio per pad directly via the LINE IN jack without needing a computer.
Built-in Recorder: Capture your ideas before they vanish using the stereo audio recorder or use the 16-track MIDI sequencer to build full songs from scratch. It even functions as a USB audio interface, so you can record directly into your DAW.
