The Venue DI is designed for uncompromising performance. Built with 100% discrete circuitry, high-grade semiconductors, and audiophile-quality film capacitors, it delivers a transparent, ultra-quiet signal that captures every detail of your playing. The transformer-coupled XLR output ensures complete isolation from ground loops, letting you focus on your performance without worrying about unwanted noise.
Most EQs are generic. The Venue DI's 5-band EQ was specifically tuned for the frequency range and tonal characteristics of acoustic guitars. The tunable low-mid and high-mid bands give you surgical control over problem frequencies, while the proprietary Garret Null notch filter hunts down feedback with laser precision. When your guitar starts to howl, this pedal brings it back to earth without sacrificing your tone.
Playing live means adapting on the fly, and the Venue DI gives you the tools to do it. The variable boost footswitch (adjustable from 0-9dB) lets you jump out front for solos without reaching down to twist knobs. The chromatic tuner with mute function keeps you in tune and silent between songs. And the series effects loop means you can drop in your favorite pedals without sacrificing signal quality.
The Venue DI consolidates the features of at least three separate pedals into one bomber-built floorbox with metal-shaft potentiometers that can handle the road. With both XLR and 1/4" outputs, a 4-segment battery status gauge, and power options via 9V battery or DC adapter, this preamp is ready for coffee shop gigs or arena tours. It's assembled in the USA with rigorous quality control testing, and it even includes a gig bag to keep it safe between shows.
