The Ludwig 6.5” x 14” Brass snare has the dark tones of a black beauty with a slightly edgier voice due to the raw unfinished bands. The polished bands break up the bark of the raw shell with some subtle smooth overtones. The die cast hoops focus the tone and add a powerful look when combined with Ludwig's classic Imperial lugs and p88 throw off.
