Mackie DL16SE 16-Channel Wireless Digital Rack Mixer
The Mackie DL16SE is proof that great things come in rack-mounted packages. This 16-channel wireless digital mixer packs Mackie's legendary Onyx+ preamps, a full DSP suite, and a 16x16 USB recording interface into a rugged stagebox/rack design that connects to your wireless router for total mix control from anywhere in the room. Mount it in a rack, drop it on a table, or plant it right on the stage. However you run your shows, the DL16SE is built to keep up.
Processing Without Limits
Every channel and output bus on the DL16SE gets its own dedicated processing. That means no compromise, no sharing, no "good enough." From tight dynamics control to studio-grade effects, the DL16SE handles signal processing the way it should be handled.
4-Band Parametric EQ + RTA/Spectrograph: Each input channel and output bus gets a full 4-band PEQ with dedicated HPF, built-in RTA, and Modern and Vintage EQ modes for dialing in exactly the right tone.
4 Stereo FX Processors: Studio-quality reverbs, delays, choruses, flangers, and more, each with its own dedicated send and return — so your effects never eat into your bus routing.
31-Band Graphic EQ on Outputs: Fine-tune room response on every output bus with a full 31-band GEQ, plus comp/limiter, alignment delay, and LPF for complete output control.
Waveform OEM Software + DAW Essentials Bundle Included: Mackie throws in professional DAW software and 16 powerful plugins — including an Equalizer, Compressor, Reverber8, and Limiter — so you can mix and produce right out of the box.
A Build That Means Business
The DL16SE isn't the kind of gear that asks to be treated gently. Its stagebox/rack design comes with a built-in handle, steel construction, and included rack ears — ready to go from gig bag to rack case without complaint. It's built for the real world, which, let's face it, is rarely gentle.
16 Onyx+ Preamps (8 XLR + 8 XLR/TRS Combo): Mackie's legendary Onyx+ preamps deliver clean, transparent gain across all 16 inputs, with two Hi-Z inputs for direct instrument connections.
8 Fully Assignable XLR Outputs + Headphone Output: Route your outputs exactly how you need them — monitors, mains, recording feeds — with full flexibility and no fixed assignments holding you back.
16x16 USB 2.0 Audio Interface: Connect directly to a Mac or PC to record every channel of your show in full resolution or play back tracks directly into a dedicated stereo return channel.
Virtual Soundcheck: Play back a previous recording through the mixer and dial in your settings before the band even shows up. Your drummer will appreciate the extra time.
Mix From Wherever You Want
Forget being chained to a fixed FOH position. The DL16SE connects to your wireless router via Ethernet, letting you run the Master Fader SE app on up to 20 iOS, Android, macOS, or Windows devices at once. It's the kind of freedom that makes sound engineers walk a little taller.
Master Fader SE App: A full-featured, multi-platform control interface that puts every fader, EQ, and FX setting right at your fingertips — on stage, at the bar, or wherever the sound actually sounds right.
Up to 20 Simultaneous Devices: Performers can manage their own monitor mixes while the FOH engineer keeps control of the master mix, thanks to flexible Access Limiting settings.
Universal Ethernet Connection: No proprietary router required. Plug in your wireless router of choice and get to work.
The DL16SE: A Serious Mixer for Serious Work
The Mackie DL16SE is a genuinely versatile digital rack mixer that earns its place in any live sound rig, from small venues and mobile setups to houses of worship and club installs.
With Onyx+ preamps, powerful DSP, wireless control via the Master Fader SE app, and a built-in recording interface, it covers more ground than its compact form factor suggests. If your current setup involves hauling around a big analog desk and a bag full of outboard gear, the DL16SE has some thoughts on that.

Frequently Asked Questions
No, the DL16SE connects to any standard wireless router via its Ethernet port, so you're not locked into a proprietary solution. Just plug in the router you already own or prefer, connect your devices to the same network, and you're ready to go.
The DL16SE supports up to 20 simultaneous connected devices across iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows. Access Limiting settings let the FOH engineer decide exactly how much control each device gets, so performers can manage their own monitor mixes without accidentally touching the master bus.
Yes, the built-in 16x16 USB 2.0 audio interface lets you connect directly to a Mac or PC for full multitrack recording. It also ships with Waveform OEM software and a 16-plugin bundle, making it a capable and cost-effective studio recording solution.
The DL16SE offers 16 input channels and 8 output channels with a 16x16 USB interface in a 2U rack format, while the DL32SE scales up to 32 inputs, 10 outputs, and a 32x32 USB interface in a 3U chassis.
