A lightweight poplar body with a comfortable maple neck makes the bass comfortably playable, and the single cutaway makes upper-fret access easy for tapping and soloing.
Wired with a tried-and-true split-jazz configuration, the SP Pinnacle 5 features SP Rockfield pickups with a Split Bass at the neck and a Jazz at the bridge. With separate volume controls for each pickup, players can blend both pickups for a wide variety of tones across any number of genres.
