Sometimes the gear on the computer screen seems like a better fit than when you actually get your hands on it. We understand, and that’s why AMS offers an industry-leading 45-day money-back guarantee. If you’re not happy with an item, you have a full month and a half to send it back! We don’t want to just sell you gear. We want to sell you the RIGHT gear — even if it takes a few tries.
Your amp is only as good as the speaker it's pushing air through. The PRS Limited Edition Archon 1x12 Closed Back Cab gives your rig punchy, focused tone with a tight low end, so every chord lands with authority instead of turning to mush. The closed-back plywood design keeps bass response firm and controlled, which makes palm mutes snap, clean chords bloom, and lead lines leap forward. If you want one cab that sounds great at the gig and in the studio, this is it.
Big sound shouldn't need a big back. At 24" wide, 18" tall, and 10.5" deep, the Archon 1x12 fits on cramped club stages, in tight studio corners, and in the back seat of a crowded car. It weighs just 26 lbs, so load-in won't feel like a gym session, and you won't need to bribe the drummer with pizza for help. Rugged construction means it keeps up with rehearsals, studio sessions, and long nights on the road, year after year. It's compact enough to carry and tough enough to trust.
At the heart of the cab sits a Celestion V-Type speaker. PRS chose it for one reason: it keeps your tone balanced from glassy cleans through classic crunch and all the way to modern metal gain. Cleans stay clear, crunch stays chewy, and high gain stays tight instead of fizzy. That same balance lets the Archon amp's clean channel shine just as brightly as its heavier settings.
The Archon 1x12 Closed Back Cab is simple, sturdy, and seriously good-sounding. It's tight where it counts, balanced at every gain setting, and small enough to bring everywhere. Whether you're tracking in the studio or holding down the stage, this cab turns your amp's voice into tone you can feel. Add it to your cart today and give your rig the speaker it deserves.
