    PRS SE Paul's Guitar Electric

Paul Reed Smith didn't just slap his name on this guitar and call it a day — he put his full reputation behind it. The SE Paul's Guitar is PRS's way of bringing the tone, craftsmanship, and versatility of their flagship Core line within reach, without sending your wallet into a full-blown crisis. Featuring TCI 'S' pickups, dual mini-toggle switches, and a premium SE Gig Bag, this guitar punches well above its price class.

PRS SE Paul's Guitar Electric Tone Worthy of the Name on the Headstock

Tone Worthy of the Name on the Headstock

A signature guitar living up to its name is rarer than you'd think, but the SE Paul's Guitar earns every letter. At the heart of it all are the TCI 'S' treble and bass pickups — a voicing system developed for PRS's most premium instruments and now available here for the first time outside the Private Stock and Core lines. Whether you're chasing warm, singing humbucking tones or bright, snappy single-coil clarity, this guitar gets you there without making you swap instruments mid-set.

    • TCI 'S' Treble and Bass Pickups: Tuned Capacitance and Impedance technology delivers a pure, vintage-voiced sound with remarkable clarity and harmonic depth across the frequency range.
    • Dual Mini-Toggle Switches: Positioned between the volume and tone knobs, these switches let you flip either or both pickups into true single-coil mode — giving you that unmistakable vintage chime without sacrificing your humbucking foundation.
    • True Single-Coil Mode: Available in both single-coil and humbucking positions, this feature offers a tonal flexibility that used to be exclusive to PRS's most expensive instruments. Now it lives right here in the SE Series.

More PRS DNA Than You'd Expect

This isn't a budget guitar that borrowed a famous name for the box art. The SE Paul's Guitar was built from the ground up as a direct translation of one of PRS's most beloved Core designs, with Paul Reed Smith himself involved in making sure it felt like home. The result is a guitar that looks, plays, and sounds unmistakably PRS — just without requiring a second mortgage.

    • Core Line Inspired Design: The SE Paul's Guitar carries the same design philosophy and aesthetic as PRS's higher-end models, giving players genuine PRS feel and character at a fraction of the cost.
    • Versatile Electronics Layout: The combination of humbucking and true single-coil switching options makes this guitar equally at home on a country stage, a blues gig, or a classic rock session — no extra pedals required.
    • Premium SE Gig Bag Included: Unlike a lot of guitars at this price point, PRS didn't just throw the instrument in a cardboard box and wish you luck. A proper gig bag comes standard, protecting your investment from day one.

PRS SE Paul's Guitar Electric A Guitar Paul Reed Smith Is Proud Of

A Guitar Paul Reed Smith Is Proud Of

That's not marketing fluff — that's a direct quote. Paul Reed Smith described the SE Paul's Guitar as "as close to home as we could get inside of the SE Series," which from the founder of one of the world's most respected guitar brands, carries serious weight. This is the rare budget-friendly instrument that doesn't feel like a compromise.

    • Endorsed by the Man Himself: Paul Reed Smith's personal involvement in the SE Paul's Guitar's development means this isn't just a name-slap situation — it's a genuine design effort with real pedigree behind it.
    • SE Series Accessibility, Core Series Soul: The SE line has always offered incredible value, but the Paul's Guitar takes it further by incorporating electronics and design features previously reserved for PRS's premium tiers.
    • First of Its Kind in the SE Line: The dual mini-toggle coil-splitting setup is a first for the SE Series — meaning early adopters are getting something genuinely new and exclusive in this price range.

    Pure PRS, Pure Guitar

The PRS SE Paul's Guitar is what happens when a world-class guitar brand refuses to cut corners just because the price point demands it. You get real PRS tone, genuine tonal versatility, and a feature set that most competitors don't offer at twice the price. If you've been waiting for a professional-quality electric guitar that doesn't require a payment plan, the wait is officially over.

Wow what a well thought out guitar!

This is just a really well designed guitar, it seriously begs to be played. The pickups go from Fendery spank to a high gain over driven roar, and anything in between. The body is super comfortable and light, although the neck is substantial, it plays easily, and the bridge is a work of art. Thanks ...
