The S2 Custom 24-08 shares many of the same specifications as the S2 Custom 24 but adds a new level of versatility with its intuitive switching system. The platform for this guitar is a maple top, mahogany back and neck, and rosewood fretboard with bird inlays. It boasts 24 frets, a 25” scale length, and a Pattern Thin neck. The Maryland, USA-made TCI pickups are paired with a 3-way toggle switch and two mini-toggle coil split switches that individually split the humbuckers into true single coils for a total of eight pickup configurations. After ten years, the PRS S2 Series is being updated with USA-made pickup and electronics for 2024 (and beyond). We are proud to bring this added value to what has become a fully integrated part of our manufacturing line and product offering.

Great guitar and great service as always. The upgraded American electronics make all the difference. Would highly recommend the guitar and dealing with AMS.
An extremely well built guitar. The sound and playability is better than my Strat or Les Paul. I was amazed by the clarity after plugging in to my Kemper rack. This guitar just bumped all the others and now resides as my primary ax.
