The PRS Tekton Floyd Electric Guitar is built for players who push their playing to the limit and expect their guitar to keep up. It pairs the modern Tekton platform with a Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo, so dive bombs, flutters, and wide vibrato come back in tune. The name comes from the ancient Greek word for "artisan" or "builder," and this guitar is crafted for players who are always building faster hands and bigger sounds. A lightweight alder solidbody with a shallow violin carve wears a high-gloss nitro finish that shines under stage lights. If you play fast, bend hard, and refuse to back off, the Tekton Floyd is your partner in crime.

The Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo is the star of this show. Push the bar down for bone-rattling dive bombs, or flick it for feral flutter effects that sound like your amp is gargling thunder. Add wide, singing vibrato to your held notes, then go right back to riffing.
The real payoff is what happens next. The Floyd Rose system is built for tuning stability, so your guitar stays dependable through aggressive techniques night after night. You get the drama without the detuned disaster. Its 16" radius matches the fretboard, so the bridge feels at home under your palm instead of fighting the curve of the neck.
Speed starts with feel, and the Tekton Floyd feels fast before you play a note. The maple bolt-on neck wears a Modern "D" carve that's thin enough for quick runs yet substantial enough to keep you confident. It measures 49/64" deep at the first fret and 1 11/16" wide at the nut. A satin nitro neck finish keeps your hand gliding instead of grabbing, even when the set runs hot and the hand starts to sweat.
The 25.5" scale length gives you snappy string response and a familiar feel. Up top, the ebony fretboard's flat 16" radius makes sweeps, tapping, and wide bends feel smooth and steady. All 24 PRS jumbo frets are stainless steel, so they stay slick and sturdy for years of shredding, sliding, and string-bending.
The lightweight alder body and sculpted contours keep you comfortable through long practice sessions, demanding studio days, and extended gigs. Offset dot inlays add a modern touch, and the PRS double-acting truss rod makes dialing in your setup quick and painless.

Two PRS Stylus humbuckers sit at the heart of the Tekton Floyd. They're voiced with a flatter response to keep their clarity under gain, while still responding to your picking dynamics. Pile on the distortion, and chords stay defined instead of turning to mud. Clean it up, and every note still speaks.
Flip the 3-way blade switch to pick your pickup, then pull up the push/pull tone control to split the coils. Every position, humbucking and split, was designed to sound good on its own and together. That means more musical options and fewer "never use that one" settings. Stylus pickups shine through a traditional tube amp just as well as through a modern digital rig, so your sound works wherever you plug in.
Smoked black hardware gives the Tekton Floyd a sleek, understated edge. PRS Phase III non-locking tuners and a PRS proprietary nut complete the setup, and an inlaid PRS Signature headstock logo adds a finishing touch.
