Pro-grade electronics, tonewoods and performance sets the Schecter Reaper 6 apart from everything else in its class! A gorgeous Swamp Ash body is mated to a Poplar Burl top, delivering resonant tonality and custom shop-level looks, and then paired to a deep-set reinforced, 5-ply Maple/Walnut Ultra-Thin C neck with Ebony fretboard. Once you strap this beast on, you’ll notice how the extensive body contouring and Ultra-Access Neck Carve ensure ergonomic comfort and effortless riffing through the most-demanding sets.

Upon plugging it into your rig, everyone in your neighborhood will appreciate how the face-meltingly high-output Schecter Decimator pickups still cut through the mix like a scythe, yet remain versatile enough to be at home in nearly any sonic territory. To keep you in rock-solid tuning, you’ll find a Schecter Custom Hardtail bridge or Floyd Rose 1500 and Schecter tuners with contrasting Black and Chrome appointments, for an extra touch of flash. This is one Reaper you won’t mind meeting in-person.

    Favorite guitar I own.

The burl top finish on this guitar was the initial reason it caught my eye. But shortly after reading reviews and seeing some playthroughs I knew I had to try it out. At this point it’s become my favorite guitar to play. The frets and necks feel and look absolutely amazing. And that’s just scraping ...

    Not as advertised.

This is a nice Guitar, But as the sticker on the back says, it is set up to play. It was far from set up to play. The action was so high that it was impossible to get tuned. The neck had such an upward bend that I didn't think the truss rod would fix it. But after some time I finally got it set up. ...

    Solid

So I’m giving this five stars despite a major fret sprout issue, I bought as a b stock and after addressing the literal sharpest frets I’ve ever felt, this guitar is my favorite guitar. If you can do basic tech stuff and you like shred this guitar is for you.
