A 4-string bass with a 5-string scale length, the Stiletto Stealth Pro EX gives 4-string players that extended range with the playing experience they’re used to! Sleek, stealthy, and designed for the professional modern aggressive player, this bass takes an ergonomic blend of aggressive, technical, and premium to a whole new level. A lightweight mahogany body with neck-thru body construction is joined with an ultra-access mahogany neck with maple stingers and two carbon fiber reinforcement rods. The thin C neck shape is designed for comfort and easy access to all 24 frets.
Armed with an EMG MMCS pickup in bridge position and EMG P pickup in the neck as well as an EMG active 2-band EQ with Master Volume/blend/and 2-band EQ controls, the Stiletto Stealth Pro EX tone is thick, heavy, and thunderous. The MMCS’s popular ceramic and steel design provides warmth and articulation with punch in the chest heaviness while the P provides nice cut and a perfect thump. The Stiletto Stealth Pro EX is stocked with industry leading TonePros “M” Series Bass Tuners which feature a 20:1 high precision gear ratio and steel inner components for ultimate tone enhancement. Luminlay glow in the dark side dot markers light the way on the dark stage.

Q: What strings (gauge) come with the bass? If it extended scale length, is it meant to be strung with the low 4 strings from a 5 string set? (B-E-A-D)

A: Hello Rich!
The strings are Ernie Ball, .045-.105. If you're looking to create a lower tone on the bass, you'll want thicker strings but if you're just going to tune it standard, you'll just use regular bass strings.
