The V8 is a premium dynamic vocal handheld microphone featuring a supercardioid polar pattern. Based on sE’s highly acclaimed V7, it incorporates a newly developed premium DMCV8 capsule that takes its performance even further.
Designed to capture your voice with even higher clarity and natural detail, it delivers a balanced midrange, impressive high-frequency detail, and an extended low-end response. The result is a vocal sound that feels open, natural, and already “finished” even before applying any EQ.
Its highly focused supercardioid pickup pattern provides excellent off-axis rejection, helping isolate the voice even in loud stage environments while minimizing bleed and reducing the risk of feedback. The result is a clear, focused vocal presence with excellent gain-before-feedback.
The V8 is available in two distinctive finishes. The V8 Graphite Gray offers a modern gray finish that complements any setup with a fresh, refined appearance while also helping to resist fingerprints and maintain a clean look. The V8 Black features a sleek matte-black finish that provides a professional, understated look on stage, ensuring the microphone remains visually discreet while the focus stays where it belongs — on your performance.
Its rugged all-metal housing and durable spring-steel mesh grille are designed to withstand the rigors of touring. Dent-resistant construction, corrosion-resistant materials, and precise craftsmanship ensure reliable performance and consistent sound quality night after night. A beveled edge design also prevents the microphone from rolling when placed on flat surfaces.
Built on the proven design principles of sE’s acclaimed V7, the V8 delivers even higher feedback rejection and gain-before-feedback, making it a dependable choice for professional vocal performances.
Next-Level Vocal Performance
Built on the foundation of our acclaimed V7, the newly developed premium DMCV8 capsule delivers even greater clarity, natural detail, and a more open vocal sound that feels "finished" before EQ. Its tight supercardioid pickup pattern keeps your voice front and center while minimizing bleed and feedback, even on the loudest stages
Switchable Internal Windscreen
Efficiently reduces unwanted wind noise and plosive pops....and just in case you don't like our stylish "sE Red" color, we've included a spare black windscreen in the box for you.
Patented Integrated Shockmount
Every movement should feel effortless. The V8's brand new integrated shock mount preserves the clarity of your performance by minimizing unwanted handling noise and vibrations, so every word and every note reaches your audience exactly as intended.
All-Metal Housing & Beveled Spring Steel Grille
Designed to perform night after night, the V8 pairs premium craftsmanship with road-proven durability. Its all-metal housing and spring-steel grille resist dents, corrosion, and the demands of touring, while the signature beveled edge keeps the microphone securely in place whenever it's set down.
Gold-Plated XLR Connector
Built for the demands of professional performance, the V8's gold-plated XLR connector provides a secure, loss-free signal connection, ensuring dependable operation show after show.
