The V8 MC2 is a premium dynamic wireless microphone capsule featuring a supercardioid polar pattern, designed for compatible Sennheiser wireless handheld transmitters. Building on the highly acclaimed V7, it incorporates the newly developed premium DMCV8 capsule, delivering exceptional clarity, natural detail, and a refined, balanced response.
Designed to capture vocals with exceptional definition, the V8 MC2 delivers clear highs, controlled mids, and an extended low-end response. The result is a vocal sound that feels open, natural, and already “finished” even before applying any EQ.
Its highly focused supercardioid pickup pattern provides excellent off-axis rejection, helping isolate the voice even in loud stage environments while minimizing unwanted bleed across the sonic spectrum. The result is a clear, focused vocal presence with excellent gain-before-feedback, even in demanding live situations.
The V8 MC2 is available in two distinctive finishes. The V8 MC2 Graphite Gray offers a modern gray finish that complements any setup with a fresh, refined appearance while also helping to resist fingerprints and maintain a clean look. The V8 MC2 Black features a sleek matte-black finish that provides a professional, understated look on stage, ensuring the microphone remains visually discreet while the focus stays where it belongs — on your performance.
Its rugged all-metal housing and durable spring-steel mesh grille are designed to withstand the rigors of touring. Dent-resistant construction, corrosion-resistant materials, and precise craftsmanship ensure reliable performance and consistent sound quality night after night. A beveled edge design also helps prevent the microphone from rolling when placed on flat surfaces.
Built on the proven design principles of sE’s acclaimed V7, the V8 delivers even higher feedback rejection and gain-before-feedback, making it a dependable choice for professional vocal performances.
The V8 MC2 further incorporates a newly patented integrated shock mount that effectively reduces handling noise and unwanted vibrations while helping protect the capsule from mechanical impact.
Finally, a gold-plated connector guarantees a reliable, loss-free signal connection, ensuring consistent and professional performance on any stage.
Bringing the premium sound and performance of the V8 to compatible Sennheiser® wireless handheld transmitters, the V8 MC2 delivers the clarity, control, and natural vocal character of the V8 with the freedom and flexibility of a wireless setup.
Next-Level Vocal Performance
Built on the foundation of our acclaimed V7, the newly developed premium DMCV8 capsule delivers even greater clarity, natural detail, and a more open vocal sound that feels "finished" before EQ. Its tight supercardioid pickup pattern keeps your voice front and center while minimizing bleed and feedback, even on the loudest stages.
V-Series Capsule Technology
Proven Neodymium magnets, tight production tolerances & high-end workmanship ensure excellent sensitivity, superior sound quality and superb consistency.
Available in Two Distinctive Finishes
The V8 MC2 is available in GRAPHITE GRAY AND MATTE BLACK to complement compatible Sennheiser handheld transmitters. All versions include extra internal windscreens for additional customization.
Patented Integrated Shock Mount
Every movement should feel effortless. The V8 MC2's brand new integrated shock mount preserves the clarity of your performance by minimizing unwanted handling noise and vibrations, so every word and every note reaches your audience exactly as intended.
All-Metal Housing & Beveled Spring Steel Grille
Designed to perform night after night, the V8 MC2 pairs premium craftsmanship with road-proven durability. Its all-metal housing and spring-steel grille resist dents, corrosion, and the demands of touring, while the signature beveled edge keeps the microphone securely in place whenever it's set down.
Gold-Plated Contacts
Built for the demands of professional performance, the V8 MC2'S gold-plated contacts provides a secure, loss-free signal connection, ensuring dependable operation show after show.
