This is paired with Edgeless rolled fretboard edges and stainless steel fretwire for durability and reduced long-term maintenance. Lightweight aluminum machine heads reduce headstock mass, improving balance and reducing neck-dive risk—addressing a common buyer concern on previous generations. Luminlay side dot markers improve visibility for stage use.
Updated Electronics Architecture and Pickup Tuning The V7 New Gen uses the Marcus Super-J Revolution pickup set with revised voicing for improved clarity, note separation, and dynamic response. The Marcus Heritage-3 preamp now features a simplified, smoother-operating control layout with push/pull active–passive switching. This removes unnecessary complexity while retaining full tonal flexibility through the mid-frequency control.
