Shopping by serial number allows you the convenience of buying online combined with the essence of the in-store experience. At AMS, what you see is what you get.
The Spector Euro 5 Custom is what happens when a world-class custom shop decides to share its secrets. Drawn directly from Spector's legendary Woodstock, NY workshop, the Euro CST brings an entirely new lineup of tonewoods, electronics, and finish combinations that you won't find anywhere else in the Euro Series. This isn't just a bass that plays well — it plays like it's in on something the rest of the lineup isn't.
The Euro CST's construction reads like a woodworker's dream journal. Every material was chosen with a specific sonic purpose in mind, and the result is an instrument that sounds as remarkable as it looks. When figured Poplar Burl, European Ash, and North American Maple walk into a room together, the room gets noticeably louder.
A great-feeling bass is only half the equation. The Euro CST's electronics package handles the other half with authority, combining active EMG X Series pickups with a brand-new preamp built specifically to deliver the signature Spector growl — that unmistakable midrange snarl that's appeared on more iconic recordings than most people realize.
Every Euro CST instrument is built with the kind of attention to detail that makes quality control a formality rather than a safety net. From the laminated Abalone Crown inlays to the neck-through construction, there are no corners cut and no shortcuts taken. This is a production instrument that plays like a custom shop piece — because, well, it basically is one.
The Spector Euro 5 CST is for players who want a production instrument that punches squarely into custom territory. Between the premium tonewoods, the Darkglass-collaborated preamp, and the active EMG X Series pickups, the Euro CST brings together everything that makes a great bass guitar great and wraps it in a figured Poplar Burl top that makes it look the part too. This is the bass you reach for first, every time.
