Introducing the new 322ce next generation acoustic electric guitar from Taylor Guitars. The 322ce is a high value grand concert model in the Taylor line up, embracing the classic Sapele and Tropical Mahogany tone wood combination. New refinements for 2026 make this iconic instrument more compelling than ever.
The guitar starts with all solid woods consisting of Sapele back and sides and tropical mahogany top. This tone wood combination gives the player a nice, classic midrange response and woody top end. The Grand Concert body shape is the most comfortable body shape in the Taylor line up and responds well to fingerstyle or players who strum with a lighter attack.
Whether you’re playing fingerstyle or recording in the studio or playing on stage or on the couch, the Grand Concert body shape is easy to play, fits in the sonic mix wonderfully, has a 24 7/8” scale for easier execution of challenging chords and can be played for a extended period of time more easily than larger guitar sizes. The Grand Concert can also put out more sound with a lighter attack or touch. New for this model for 2026 are three major, game changing innovations.
Action Control Neck. A new, long tenon neck joint design that not only improves tone and sustain but allows a qualified technician to adjust the neck angle in seconds with the strings still on and the guitar under tension. The result? The ability to set up the guitar for individual playing styles like never before.
Scalloped V Class Bracing. With changes to the internal architecture, the guitar now brings more low end and bloom to the table while embracing all sustain and intonation benefits of the original V Class bracing system.
And finally, Claria pick up system, a revolutionary active pick up system that redefines acoustic amplified tone with a proprietary high definition, active high fidelity pre amp and under the saddle pick up system. Simply put, the most plug and play pick up system with volume, tone, and contour shaping soundhole controls to achieve the ultimate amplified acoustic sound.
The new for 2026 next generation 322ce features an all gloss finish on the body, satin finish on the neck, shaded edge burst finish on the top, Weathervane Italian Acrylic and faux pearl fretboard and peghead inlays, 24 78” scale length, venetian cutaway, black fretboard and body binding, celluloid firestripe pickguard, and ships in a deluxe hardshell case.
